Founded in 2012, Mobvoi aims to push the boundaries of next generation human-machine interaction with AI technology. Mobvoi has developed it’s own Chinese voice technologies in the fields of voice recognition, natural language processing, and vertical search. Through its creation of critically acclaimed consumer products in wearables, automobile and home product categories, Mobvoi’s rich accumulation of experience in the application of AI has in turn driven continued innovation in its core voice-based technologies.
To date, Mobvoi has raised 6 rounds of funding, led by firms including SIG, Sequoia Capital, Zhenfund, Google and Volkswagen. Mobvoi, now with over 400 employees, is headquartered in Beijing and has international offices in Seattle and San Francisco. Our global team hails from over a dozen countries with diverse background. 2017Mobvoi- Volkswagen partnership
Completed a US$ 180 million series D backed by Volkswagen Group China that will promote the application of Mobvoi's AI technologies in the automobile market.
Mobvoi launched the global edition of Ticwatch and raised 2.1 million USD on Kickstarter.
2015Mobvoi x Google formed strategic partnership
Completed Series C backed by Google, shortly after partnering with Google to provide Chinese voice search technology to Android Wear in China.
